Duke University TMS Course

The Duke Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Course is a three-day training program that offers intensive education in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Sponsored by the Duke University School of Medicine, the course combines didactic sessions with hands-on administration of TMS and covers topics relevant to both TMS clinical services and research settings.

Audience:

Credentialed clinicians, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as researchers who wish to enhance their knowledge of TMS and related brain stimulation techniques.

Registration:

Registration is first come, first served. The course cost is $3,550 for all participants. The Duke TMS Course only accepts credit card payments.

Additional Information:

The course includes didactic sessions and hands-on administration of TMS, with topics including device principles, neuroscience of TMS, motor threshold determination, treatment technique, stimulus dosing, safety screening, risks, complications, contraindications, continuation treatment, research applications, and emerging brain stimulation techniques.
Attendance on all three days is required to receive full continuing education credit.
The course session is capped at 30 participants.
